🧑💻 About the Role
As part of the Payment Products Development – Authorization Services Test Engineering (VIP TE) team, you’ll work on mission-critical applications that power VisaNet – Visa’s core payment system. You’ll help build robust testing tools, automate testing processes, and ensure the performance and quality of Visa’s software solutions.
💼 Responsibilities
✅ Test Tools & Automation Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks and tools.
- Work with programming languages like REXX, .NET, C#, Java, Python, and microservices.
- Utilize tools like Selenium, TestNG, Postman, SOAP UI, JSON/XML parsers, Jenkins, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Explore APIs and contribute across all stages of SDLC with strong focus on CI/CD and quality.
✅ Manual & Mainframe Testing
- Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Test code using in-house tools and automation on mainframes (z/TPF), desktops, and web servers.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to identify bugs, improve coverage, and ensure flawless integration and E2E testing.
- Provide regular reports and insights on test outcomes, risks, and release readiness.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related technical fields (2023/2024 batches).
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and software testing best practices.
- Bonus: Experience in mainframe systems (z/TPF), REXX, or ISO 8583 message standards.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language like C#, .NET, Java, or Python.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
